There has to be a middle ground, Nintendo. I have money, you have a product I want to purchase, and yet you will not allow me to buy this product from you. I can be patient but I’m not so sure I can remain enthusiastic.

What people buying the NES Classic on Ebay for a thousand bucks may not understand is that it’s value lies in the sixty dollar price. You can easily go out and drop a wad of cash to get an actual NES and a bunch of cartridges both of which will probably go up in value over time. If you spend a ton on the NES Classic, it’s going to go straight down in value right off the bat and then start the slow climb to get back to where you started, if you’re lucky.
