I’m not sure who is the worst cinema dad, uncle Ben in Amazing Spider-Man or Pa Kent in Man of Steel?

Both of these deaths are supposed to be defining moments for the respective heroes. Kent, who normally dies of a heart attack, shows that even with all of Superman’s powers there are some problems he just can’t fix and uncle Ben’s death is the crux of Spider-Man’s responsible war on crime. Now I guess Spidey’s just fighting for vengeance and Hopeman Superman just let his dad die because who the hell knows.

At least Kent saved a dog.
