Good ol’ Richard, he’s always good for a chuckle.
I, like so many others, was sad to see the passing of Tom Petty. The man created some of my favorite music and provided a large part of the soundtrack to my formative years. Whether I was speeding around in my 1974 Plymouth scamp blaring Runnin’ Down a Dream or enjoying a sunny summer day to Into the Great Wide Open, he and the Heartbreakers had a way of reaching in and setting my brain alight with beautiful electricity. Then later I got to enjoy his fantastic V.O. as Lucky in King of the Hill. Mr. Petty, you never let me down and hopefully my daughter will love your music as much as I do. Rest in peace.
