With Super Mario Odyssey on the horizon, a game where Mario interacts with realistic human beings, Nintendo seems to be in a frenzy to show that, despite his cartoonish appearance, Mario is in fact a normal human man. Thus the picture they recently released of Mario’s bare, nippley chest. This in the same year that you can play as a shirtless Link in Breath of the Wild, sans nips. I guess Hylians don’t suckle their young, which would explain why Link likes milk so much, it being a truly exotic elixir to him.
By the way, Mario milk only comes in one flavor, Extreme Garlic.
