I might actually be interested in an Obi-Wan solo film if I knew it was gonna be an hour and a half comedy about old Ben trying not to go nuts from boredom. I doubt that’s what they have planned. Seriously, if Lucasfilm is gonna insinuate that Obi has been fighting off people coming after Luke for years they need to just hang it up. There’s apparently a Joker origin movie in the works as well, because nothing makes a character more interesting than less mystery. The closest I ever wanna get to a Joker origin is Batman 1989. I’m very apprehensive about the Han Solo film as well. Don’t get me wrong, I trust Ron Howard but I’ve got a lot of concerns that Red Letter Media pretty much nails on the head in this video:
