Yes, as unbelievable as it is, there are people who want George “The Sandman” Lucas back at the helm of Star Wars. They want it bad enough to create a petition.
Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate Lucas bringing Star Wars to us all. I also appreciate him stepping aside and letting other people handle Empire and Jedi. Look at it this way, J.J. Abrams has directed just as many good Star Wars movies as George Lucas, and he’s only done one. Lucas has four under his belt.
I love my mother, she brought me into this world but, like Star Wars, I’m over 30 now. My mom’s no longer in charge of where I go or what I do. What I’m trying to say is this, If Star Wars was a person and Lucas is it’s parent, he’s already shown that he thinks its alright to dress his adult child up like Lord Fauntleroy.
