If someone asks me for spare change or a dollar I’ll give what I got. I do miss the days when the question was, ” Can you spare some change?” Every time I’ve been asked recently the person launches into some well rehearsed diatribe where they tell you a story that contains waaaay too many minute details to be true, and to top it all off the story is boring.
The point I’m trying to make is this: If you’re down on your luck, just ask me for the money straight out, and if you’re going to tell me a story, at least put a wizard in it.
